Right now I’m rather glad I’m only drafting my next song with my cat pee writing instead of trying to record ideas that presently spring into my head like jumpy termites on speed.

There’s been some chainsaw action going on at what I deem to be about the 100DB range (yes rock concert range) going on intermittently since 7am this morn and I’m ready to draw blood. I live next to a highway, a high traffic ones so recording anything sometimes involves waiting for pockets of silence ond of course waiting for people to not die on the highway so I can record in peace without the sirens. Which of course, Murphy’s law states that once you have had your cables lined up, your levels set and all ready to go, well, a garbage truck pulls into my alleyway and sends the smell and some unintended sub sonic waves into my tracks.

So yes, deleted scenes in my recording process does include some very colourful words that are usually drowned out by the sounds of a kamikaze pigeon, assorted garbage collector noises and well, the chainsaw…whatever the neighbour is trying to maim at the moment better be dying a very satisfactory death worthy of religion…news of next show this saturday coming up below for my old Sydney siders.

For the rest of you, keep the demands coming, especially in the USA. We have a promoter very interested in seeing the numbers before he books us shows, so make with the working on the clicking.
