This page should answer all your questions about using my songs in podcasts, film and other media. Got a question not covered here? Ask Spidey!
- Podcast Safe
All songs on yunyu. com. au are "podcast-safe. " You’re free to (and please do!!) include them in your podcast or internet radio show as long as you abide by the terms set down in the Creative Commons nc-by-sa 2. 0 license, which are summarized as:
- No commerical use - Spidey is poor but R I C H in curses, if you thieve profits from the altar of her music and dare leave her hungry muses out of your loot A MILLION Stubborn Fleas can and WILL invade your stinky armpits (and more)
- Provide attribution - a link to this website and verbal props during the podcast will do fine.
- Share alike! - if you remix and release, you are to share as well under the same deal ok? Good remixer. Nice Remixer J
The CC license applies only to songs I’ve written and/or own the copyright to. It does not apply to audio files at other sites that I happen to link to (for example, other artists I think are cool). Please read the license summary completely before you begin using the songs.
- Social Projects
Please call Spidey if you’d like to use the music in any project with a political or social campaign or concern. Spideys, though known to be scary will most likely be very obliging. Especially with projects related to school bullying. Spidey was a little school freak and a shiny target for meathead bullies. Now Spidey has issues and might go on crusades should an invite arise. - Filesharing Safe
Unlike most majors, Spideys acknowledge and embrace the fact that File-sharing and P2P are here to stay, so the same terms that apply to podcasting and internet radio above also apply to filesharing. You’re free to distribute my songs as audio files on your favorite P2P system. Please don’t remove or change the ID3 tags on the files, as they contain links to my website and other goodies. Pirates who try to profit from my creative efforts are advised to start stocking up on anti-itch cream. May a MILLION Fleas invade your stinky armpits! - Student and Amateur Films
The same terms that apply to podcasting and internet radio above also apply to student and amateur film projects. If you get lucky and land a big-money distribution deal, call Spidey, weÃll talk (See Commercial Licensing)If you forget May a MILLION Fleas invade your stinky armpits! - Commercial Licensing
If you’re interested in using a song in a commercial work (TV, professional film, advertisements, for-profit broadcasting), call Spidey and we’ll work something out. If you forget may a MILLION Fleas invade your stinky armpits who also specialise in meat eating Brain lice.
